Room Divider Ideas for Open Spaces

Open spaces are all the rage right now. With the elimination of walls, we have the ability to turn small homes into spacious dwellings. However, large spacious rooms can present problems of their own.

Often, we struggle for ways to turn those sought after open spaces into defined areas. Sometimes we can solve that problem by simply adding rugs. Other times, rugs are unwanted or just won’t provide the sense of privacy that is desired. It is times like this that  creative room divider ideas can come in handy. Plank Walls – A Feature Wall to Get on Board With!

Feature walls have been popular for several decades now. However, what is popular for a feature wall has evolved over time. Back in the late 80’s and early 90’s, wallpaper made a great featured wall. Wallpaper – It’s on a Roll!

Over the last few years, wallpaper has been making a comeback. Newer textures and more modern designs are available to bring your rooms into the 21st century. While, a low ceiling can either create a cozy feel, or a closed in feel. It all depends on how the rest of the room flows into the ceiling. So, l thought I would share with you how to create the illusion of high ceilings.

Easy Wall Storage System For Just $8

Lately, I have been on a quest to get my entire house organized. If you are a frequent visitor here, then you have probably seen my Utensil Drawer project. (If not, I recommend reading that article next). :-) Anyway,  I have been really wanting to add a slat wall to my craft/sewing room, but I wasn’t satisfied with any that I had seen. They were either way too expensive, or I was worried about not being able to find the accessories that I would need. Plus, I just knew that if I installed one, the manufacturer would discontinue that line, and I would be left searching for no longer available pieces. So, like so many other things, I just decided to make one myself.
